Articles And Auto Responders

So what do articles and autoresponders have in common? Think we all know what an article is, but what exactly is an autoresponder and why should I have one? At its simplest, an autoresponder is just an email that is sent out automatically. You go on vacation for a few weeks and you set up an out of office email that goes in response to any email that comes to you. This outgoing email is an autoresponse.

Autoresponders are used to say thank you when a product is bought, or to send out a receipt. They now have your email so they can continue to send at intervals sale promotions or snippets of information they may think you might be interested in. These follow up emails are written beforehand, so the business owner does not have to stop what they are doing and respond every time something is bought or information requested. The autoresponder sets up the sequence that you chose, for the emails to deliver the messages.

Articles and Autoresponders work symbiotically, each helping the other to work. Article Marketing is a great way to build your online presence. But you should remember that those same articles can be used in an email mini course too. Your articles should be unique and full of relevant content. Don't dawdle and wander with your words and thoughts. People are there to read and learn, give them what they want and need. You can add your link to your webpage too, which lets people come to your site, where you of course will be giving more good information and perhaps selling something.

You should submit your well written article to Ezine publishers, websites and article banks. By doing this you have found the most effective way to market your product or service on the internet. You can make it even more effective by joining your articles and Autoresponders. An autoresponder sends out follow-up messages or single messages depending on how you set it up. Say you wrote a series and want each one sent out every three days, then set it up with your autoresponder that way.

You have decided that advertising each and every article you write is just to time consuming. So what do you do? Well, find a good autoresponder and whichever autoresponder you use, begin by setting up your articles so that each one will have its own autoresponder address.

Next, make a master list of your articles. You can use a table or notepad. First type in the article name and then right next to it the autoresponder address. If you think that it might be helpful you can add descriptions of what the article is about next to the title.

Now we know that advertising an article at a time is not what you want to do, but advertising one autoresponder address --the one for the Master List--won't take very much time at all. All you need to do is market that list. Put it in your newsletter or on your website. If you wish you can also make it available to other Ezine publishers to use this free resource, (your master list) for their subscribers! Now you can see the power of articles and autoresponders.
