Joint Ventures Generate Big Bucks

There are numerous ways to bring targeted visitors to your websites and get them to purchase your products. Every marketer has a list of methods they use and every day a new product is released proposing the latest system to do this.

One essential tactic that will never stop working though is to find joint venture partners who will promote you and your products. Having great joint venture partners will give you much greater exposure within your market for a start. It will give you the social proof needed for potential purchasers to feel confident in placing their trust with you. These factors can make your job much easier and make all the difference in a product launch or just sustaining consistent sales.

But why would somebody JV with you?

For a partnership to happen you need to be thinking about what you can offer your partners. If you are selling a digital product with low margins then it has become standard practice to offer 50 to 75% commissions on the product cost. After the product has been produced you do not have any major costs so it is possible to offer such a large percentage. You could even go further and offer 100% commissions as you will be gaining a customer base you can sell to in the future.

Another method is to offer prizes for the best JV's. Around launch date you could offer cash prizes or digital goods for the best performers and this will give an incentive to get that extra push.

It is also important to make things as easy as possible for your partners to make sales. The easier the better and it is not too difficult to get this right. You should provide email templates, blog reviews, sample PPC ads, keywords, articles and anything else that will help the JV promote you with the least amount of effort.

So here are the four tips to get you started:

Create a product
You will first need a product to sell so gather together your knowledge on your subject and create a product you can sell. This could be an ebook, a video series, audio downloads or a combination of all of these. It is not too difficult to do and you can even outsource this or buy a product that you can re-brand yourself.

Set up a website
Buy a domain name and some hosting. If you are not great at design then pay somebody to design a website for you and create your website. You may also want to pay a copywriter to write the sales page if you are not confident in this area. This part is crucial so make sure you get it right.

Find Joint Venture partners
Get in contact with the main names in your niche first. Offer them a great deal as if you can persuade them to come on board then getting other partners will be easy. Send your product to them to review and make the process as easy as possible. Contact a JV broker who will get partners for you in exchange for a cut of the profits.

Prepare for the launch
You will want to presell potential customers before launch date so have some material prepared. Ask JV partners to send out your material before launch day and build anticipation for the release. You will want the buzz to grow on the forums and throughout your niche. When launch day comes you should have a huge number of people waiting to give you money.
